It is the mission of Modoc County Mental Health to provide high quality, culturally appropriate, linguistically inclusive mental health care in the least restrictive setting, using the participation of our clients and their support system where appropriate. Modoc County Mental Health Program Components; Crisis intervention services - 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; Emergency Response; 5150 Evaluations; In-patient mental health services; 5150 placement in a Psychiatric Hospital Facility (PHF); State Hospital Placement(s); Residential Treatment Facilities; Institution for Mental Disorders (IMD); Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF); Board & Care Facility; Out-patient mental health services; Individual, Family & Group Counseling; Case Management; Medication Management; Lanterman Petris Short (LPS) Conservation Services; Competency Assessments; Coordination with Public Guardian/Social Services & County Council; Mental Health Program Activities Socialization/Activity Groups; Domestic Violence Groups; 52-week court-ordered group (in conjugation with Alcohol & Drug); Anger Management Groups; 26-week group referred by other agencies or self-referral; Cultural Competency Activities; Regular meetings and trainings with Latino Migrant Education; Regular meetings and trainings with Modoc Indian Health; Quality Improvement Committee; Bi-monthly meeting including consumers, and mental health staff focusing on improving the Mental Health delivery system. This process is coordinated with the Mental Health Advisory Board, the Board of Supervisors, and the State Department of Mental Health.; Interagency participation; Weekly Level of Care Committee (LOCC) includes representatives from probation, social services, department of education, law enforcement and TEACH.; Monthly staffings with Social Services involving coordination of LPS and CPS.
